I discovered I had issues with gluten and wheat about 3 years ago. Being a massive fan of eating out and someone who really enjoys food, I have since made it my mission to find out where the best places to eat in London are if you are Coeliac. I'll also put up my favourite recipes and other good websites/blogs that I like. All I can guarantee is that there's no gluten here. This is a gluten-free zone. Down with gluten.

Hell Pizza is HEAVEN!!
AT LAST!! G-F pizza in London!
I went on a bit of a mission to get to Hell Pizza today - sat in endless traffic in endless roadworks all the way across London, but it was worth it!
They don't just do gluten-free snack size, despite the website implying that - they do big ones too - they're about 12 inches, so perfect!
I was boring and just went for a Margherita, as I wanted to see what the pizza would be like before trying some of their weird and wonderful toppings...
Verdict - pretty damn good! It's no Risotteria (which is in New York), but I don't think anywhere will ever beat that for me, so the fact that this is top behind that for me means I think it's REALLY good and, to be honest, am just so grateful to them for doing g-f pizza at all - FINALLY! WOOHOOOOO! (I'm excited...)
I would DEFINITELY make the effort to cross London again - on a regular basis - to get more. The base was crispy and thin (think it definitely had some corn in) and the tomato sauce and cheese were really good. So, all in all - A TRIUMPH!
THANK YOU HELL PIZZA! You will make SUCH a difference to Coeliacs all over London - please open some more branches!!

Dear Lizzie,
We want to go to London in November this year. Would you be so kind to tell us where to find gluten free restaurants.
Thanks in advance
Hey! What a wonderful blog you have here! I just wish you'd update more often :-D
I LOVE London and have been over many times since going gluten free without any problems. But, it is always great to know more about where to eat delicious meals...and what to buy in the shops.
Thanks for the advice.
keep it coming.
Hi Lizzie,
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll be in London next week and I'll give Hell Pizza a try. My mouth is already watering!

Hi,
thanks for the review. Is it a proper sit down restuarant though? I want to take my wife there on halloween (as its our wedding anniversary - hell pizza seems appropriate), but even though she is coeliac i don't think it will go down well if its a takeway with a couple of seats inside.
Cheers

Hi eeth,
I wouldn't say it's exactly 'anniversary' material...! It's very much a pizza parlour - so the interior, although there is a restaurant part, is very much of the Pizza Hut (sorry Pasta Hut...!) ilk - not much ambience at all!

I found your blog on google and saw the pizza bit ..the moment you said there was a wheat free take away pizza place I got my wallet and headed to the tube ..I found the place and ordered a bacon and banana pizza! it was FABULOUS ..I almost wanted to cry haha ..it was just so great to taste it again finally I devoured the pizza in minutes mwhahah tho 11 pounds is a bit of hit to the pocket I will go there atleast once a month!
